This practical workshop is designed for professionals, but also for private homeowners (and future ones) who would like to acquire practical knowledge with natural materials like clay and limestone.

It provides a good insight into working with natural plasters of clay and lime for interior and exterior application. Practical exercises on our "learning space - walls" of our apprenticeship-site offer the participants a great opportunity to try out the building materials themselves and get a feeling for the material.

Workshop "Clay Plaster" - Topics:

• Materials Science (theoretical introduction)
• Interior insulation with reed plates and clay plaster
• Various substrates with coarse and fine plaster (inventory, substrate preparation, plastering)
• Introduction to various plaster techniques, decorative finishes with clay plasters and colouring.

Workshop "Surfaces with Lime" - Topics:

• Materials Science (theoretical introduction)
• Various substrates with coarse and fine plaster (inventory, underground preparation, plastering)
• Inner and outer surfaces with different plaster techniques (including lime plaster on wood surfaces)
• Colouring based on lime and pigments

Minimum of 7 people (max. 15 persons), this workshop can be conducted independently of weather conditions.
