Whether in new construction or renovation, the right floor structure and its proper execution can substantially contribute to a good indoor climate. In old buildings, a too-tight floor structure, causing damage to adjacent components (walls) even in some cases. Breathable floor structures relieve the old stock and distribute the moisture occurring better.

Calcareous soils are among the oldest mineral floorings. Compared to cement these floors feel softer and warmer when walked . A very good subfloor is fine lime concret, so-called Limestone screed. As a "floating floor" applied on a cork layer, it can even curb some eyesores. The material is also ideal for basement floors.

Contents of the practical workshop:

  • Floor construction with Kalkestrich (real underground, construction and application areas in new construction and renovation)

  • Screed technology / smoothing technique (materials, components, layer structure, etc.)

  • Identification of design possibilities with Kalkestrich (eg terrazzo)

Minimum number of participants: 6 people (max. 10 people), this workshop can be carried out in any weather.

Registration deadline: 15/05/2014
